Ronin Path from Lean Ronin

A training app, not a course

Open it, and it tells you what to do today.

A home training plan for skinny guys. Take a ten-minute test, get your sash and your starting step on every move, then train three days a week. Type your reps as you go, and the app moves you up when you're ready. Every rule it runs on has a study button that shows the paper behind it.

A session in the app: push-up, table row and squat, each with its sets, rep range and boxes to type the reps.
This is the app itself, not a drawing of it.

It opens in the browser you already use. Add it to your home screen and it works with the internet off.

The videos give you the rules. This holds them for you.

Sets, reps, rest, when to make a move harder, how much protein. Nobody remembers all of it in the middle of a set. So most people do the same push-ups at the same level for months and wonder why nothing changes.

Ronin Path does the remembering. It knows which step you're on for every move, tells you the sets and the rep range, times your rest, and after each session it moves each move up, down, or keeps it, from the reps you typed in.

What's inside

The starting test and your sash

Push-ups, pull-ups or table rows, squats and a plank hold. About ten minutes. It gives you a sash, white to black, and the right starting step on every move. Retest every four weeks and watch it change.

Today's session

Five moves: push, pull, legs, shoulders, core. Each one shows how to do it, the sets and the rep range, and boxes for your reps. A rest timer sits at the bottom of the screen. Short on time? A ten-minute version keeps the habit going.

Ladders that move with you

Every move is a ladder, from wall push-ups to archer push-ups, from towel rows to slow pull-ups, from chair squats to one-leg squats. Hit the top of the range on every set and you step up. Miss the bottom and you step down.

The plan screen: the push-up ladder with the current step lit, and buttons for easier and harder.
Your plan: every move as a ladder, and the step you're on.

Chapters

Extra work for one part of the body, added to every session: arms, chest, shoulders, back and width, legs and calves, abs, neck, grip. Two at a time.

Food

Type your weight and get your protein for the day and for each meal. Weigh in once a week and it tells you whether the scale is going up at the right speed, too slow, or too fast. No supplements, on purpose.

A plan you can print

Your moves, sets and ranges, a four-week tracker to write your reps in, and a page listing every study.

Every rule names its study

Three days a week. Three sets, then four. Stop one or two reps short of failure. Rest two to three minutes. Push-ups count as a real chest builder. About 1.6 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight.

Each of those has a study button. Press it and you get what the study found, the paper, the link, and the day it was read. The app is built so a rule can't appear without one.

A rule in the app with its study panel open, naming the paper, the link and the date it was read.
One rule with its study open.

The ladders, the starting steps and the sash scale are ours, and the app says so wherever it shows them.

What you actually get

A link. It opens in your browser on a phone, a tablet or a computer. Nothing to download, nothing to unzip.

A web app, not an App Store app. No account to create. Your browser puts it on your home screen in two taps, and after that it opens like any other app, with the internet off.

What you type stays on your phone. No login, no cloud, no tracking. Your tests, sessions and weigh-ins live in your own browser.

What you need: a floor, a chair, a sturdy table or a door, and a bag you can fill with books. A pull-up bar helps, but it's optional: the test asks, and the plan uses a table or a door if you don't have one.

What this is not

  • Not a promise. It holds the plan and keeps it hard. The work is yours.
  • Not supplements. None are sold here and none are in the plan.
  • Not medical advice. Pain in a joint means stop that move. If you have an injury or a condition, ask a doctor first.
  • Not a subscription. One payment. Nothing renews.
  • Not a gym program. Everything is body weight or a loaded bag, at home.

Questions people ask

Do I need a gym or weights?

No. A floor, a chair, a table or a door, and a bag of books. A pull-up bar is optional.

Do I download it from the App Store?

No. It's a web page that works like an app. On an iPhone: open the link, press Share, then Add to Home Screen. On Android: open the menu and press Install.

Does it need the internet?

Only the first time. After that it runs from your phone. The study links need the internet, because the papers are on other sites.

Where does my data go?

Nowhere. It stays in your browser on your device. If you clear your browser's data, it's gone, so don't clear it for this site.

Is this the same as the videos?

The videos explain one topic at a time. This holds the whole plan, knows where you are on it, and tells you what to do today.

I lost the link.

It's in your receipt email. If that's gone too, go to app.lemonsqueezy.com/my-orders and enter the email you bought with: your key is there. Or write to leonatureshop0104@gmail.com.

Walk the path

You can do all of this with a notebook and the videos. It's slower, and most people stop when the notebook gets lost. That's the only reason this exists.
